NHSQA SPRING MEETING - 2010

NHSQA hopes you were able to join us for our Spring Meeting

Our Spring event featured two guest speakers:
Nancy Bell, quilt designer, teacher, and award winner.
Mary Dery, AQS certified quilt judge, quilt designer, teacher and award winner.

NHSQA FALL MEETING - 2009

Our Fall Meeting featured 4 guest teachers who provided 4 fun mini-workshops:

• Easy Paper Piecing
• Jelly Roll Quilt Ideas
• Easy Flying Geese
• Quilting on the Cheap

NHSQA SPRING MEETING - 2009

Our Spring meeting was held at the Silver Fox Inn, Waterville Valley,NH.

Our guest speaker/presenter was quilt designer/artist Patricia Delaney. Click on the link below to visit her studio. This event included Pat's trunk show of award winning quilts, which was great eye candy and much inspiration. Seeing these beautiful quilts up close was such a treat.

We also had the results of our spring mystery quilt challenge, member show & tell, refreshments and a brief business meeting.

NHSQA FALL MEETING  - 2008

NHSQA's Fall 08 meeting will feature guest speaker Jane Balshaw. She is most noted for her use of color having developed a color theory called "Triadic Color Theory System."

Jane's Lecture was "Skimming the Surface." A trunk show of quilted art showcasing various fabric manipulation techniques; i.e.: “Surface Design”. This sampling of work from artist Jane Balshaw, barely skims the surface of a body of hundreds of works produced starting in 2000 that hang in various homes and corporations throughout the United States and abroad. Jane resides in Canterbury, New Hampshire where she works in her large studio creating artworks and teaches workshops on painting fabric and color theory. NHSQA FALL MEETING -October 7th, 2007

Our Fall Guest speaker was quilter, teacher, designer: Karen Lyons!

Karen presented an enlightening program on color.  A subject all quilters have experienced a challenge with at sometime in their quilting experience.

NHSQA SPRING MEETING  - 2007

We held our Spring meeting at the Quilted Threads Quilt Shop in Henniker, NH.

Our guest speaker/presenter was Great Pond Quilts of Campton, NH.

This event included the presentation, results of our spring mystery quilt challenge, member show & tell, refreshments and a brief business meeting.

Our Fall meeting was with guest speaker Ellen Peters!  It was a truly inspiring day!
